The Kodak EasyShare Z650 is a small digital TTL camara with an 10x optical zoom.

The camara works with small SD-cards. With a card reader, these cards are easely mounted. After being mounted, one can copy the image files from the card to your Linux computer. After that you can publish them, or edit them with Gimp.

Reading the camera memory

When no SD card is inserted, the camera can hold a small number of pictures on its interal flash memory.

With gphoto this memory can be read. Gphoto2 is a good application to do so. The imagefiles can be downloaded from the camera into your Linux computer with the following command.

gphoto2 --camera="Kodak Z650" --get-all-files
